The representative of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Georgia Sasha Groyman presented credentials to the Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, Vashadze thanked the fund for the implementation of programs related to children’s rights and stressed the need to monitor and protect children’s rights in the occupied regions of Georgia.
The Minister noted that the eradication of poverty of children is another priority for Georgia.
Sasha Groyman thanked the Minister for successful cooperation. He promised to help Georgia with overcoming problems associated with the protection of children’s rights.
