The president of ADP (Armenian Democratic Party) Aram Sargsyan announced in “Post scriptum” press club today that he doesn’t plan to run his candidacy in the presidential elections in February, 2013 and noted that the final format of party’s participation will be clear in the beginning of the coming year.
“What about the possible cooperation with other powers, we will support the candidate able to solve crucial problems. The incumbent president has advantage as he can do whatever the people expect from him instead of promises.” – said Sargsyan. The politician made sure that since the date of its establishment “Prosperous Armenia” hasn’t been an opposition. “Being in one team for several years, they have suddenly woken up and decided to lead their own policy.” ADP leader doesn’t believe that the opposition will get united around the joint candidate.
