Azerbaijani media, citing the announcement made by the Azerbaijani deputy president of the intergovernmental economic cooperation department, Natig Hasanov, reports that Azerbaijani Ministry of Economical Development has counted the size of damage that Azerbaijan suffered as a result of so called “Armenian occupation” of Azerbaijani lands and according to it Armenia “must pay” Azerbaijan $ 431,5 billion.
As reported, this index was concluded on the base of researches of different Ministries, including the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, State Committee on Work with Refuges and IDPs and other state organizations, as well as on the information of Ministry of Economical Development.
We should recall that earlier, in July 2012, Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, said that the “occupation” damages would be about $ 100 billion and added that they would get the money by every possible means.
