As Radio Free Europe reports Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkish troops conduct joint military drills aimed at improving pipeline security. Military drills are held near Ankara with representatives of the three states’ armies and security forces responsible for guarding pipelines taking part in the drills.
Recall that earlier in May the flow of Azerbaijani natural gas to Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline was halted after an unexplained explosion hit the line on Turkish territory.
