Ramil Safaraov, who was extradited to Azerbaijan by Hungarian authorities on August 31 and was immediately pardoned by the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, is now «in official vacation and is having a rest», the head of the international military cooperation of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported to SalamNews agency, reports “Freedom» radio station.

According to Najatov’s words, though Safarov had committed a crime, the Hungarian authorities were too strict in their verdict, whereas by Azerbaijani law he deserves 15 years of imprisonment. By pardoning the murderer, Aliyev has done a very humane act, says the official of Azerbaijani Defense ministry.
