The press service of RA Foreign Ministry reports to «First Armenian News and Analysis» that on September 21 in the hall of the Moscow «Renaissance Monarch» hotel an official reception was organized dedicated to the 21st anniversary of Armenian Independence.
Senior officials of RF, representatives of diplomatic missions and members of international bodies in Moscow, famous public figures of Russian political, social and cultural spheres as well famous representatives of Armenian community were present at the meeting.
The opening speech was given by the RA ambassador to RF Oleg Esayan. Referring to the key goals during 21 years of Independence, RA ambassador noted that Armenia is quickly advancing forward and is a reliable member of international community. The ambassador Esayan mentioned that this year Armenia and Russia will celebrate 20th anniversary of the establishment diplomatic relations as well as 15th anniversary of the contract about friendship and cooperation.
The deputy of RF foreign minister Igor Margulov also gave a speech. Referring to the key points of Russian-Armenian strategic and cooperative relations, he stressed that Armenia and Russia crossed a 21-year-long way of cooperation.
The official reception was followed by a concert. In parallel with the reception an exhibition of modern artists’ work was organized.
