Today on September 23rd the local government elections are held in Aragatsotn, Gehgarquniq, Kotayq, Vayoc Dzor and Tavush regions and also for the candidates of Armavir and Shirak regions.
In 261 communities out of 322 in 7 regions, including in 16 towns there are 521 mayor candidates and 2626 council candidates.
The process of the elections will be monitored by 15 local NGOs, 1005 and 20 supervisors from Euro Council and Congress of local and regional authorities correspondingly.
The primary results will be counted by14:00, September 24th. The final results will be clear on September 28.
