UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon sent a congratulatory letter to President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Armenia’s 21th anniversary of independence.
He congratulated the National Day of Armenia and praised the country’s culture and proud history.
“This celebration day is an opportunity to think about the role of Armenia in our world. I highly appreciate your involvement in UNO, which helps to make joint decisions on common challenges.
For the achievement of our dream-future we include 5 comprehensive reviews in our common agenda: to promote sustainable development, build a safe and secure world, prevent crises, provide assistance to the unsustainable countries of the world and to do more for women and youth.
I highly appreciate the guidance, support and commitment of the RA leadership.”
