Syrian state news agency report that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad sent a congratulation letter on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
Asad on behalf of Syria and its people congratulated the RA president and the “neighboring people” and sent his “sincere congratulations and best wishes”.
This year’s congratulation letter in Arabic very closely repeats the last year’s text. As last year, in 2012 the congratulatory was sent on the eve.
