Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at a meeting with a delegation led by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress (NPC) Li Zhaoxing touched upon the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. “Armenian armed forces should be withdrawn from occupied Azerbaijani territories for the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”, noted Mammadyarov. The Chinese delegation head, as Trend reports, expressed satisfaction with the existing relations, stressed the availability of opportunities for cooperation and appreciated Azerbaijan’s election as UN Security Council non-permanent member.
