Azerbaijani ambassador to Moldova Namik Aliyev, while participating in the fourth meeting of Azerbaijani diplomats in Baku told Trend that about Moldova cutting arms supply to Armenia and apologizing to Azerbaijan.
“This issue was discussed at a meeting of the Azerbaijani President with Moldovan Prime Minister, where the Moldovan side explained that it did not pursue any political goal”, noted Aliyev.
Ambassador noted that the Moldovan side recognized its fault. Meanwhile, Moldova’s Ministry of Defense spokesman had earlier stated that arms supplies to Armenia have been cut in November 2011.
