Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy, Vagif Sadigov, today told Azerbaijani media that a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Italian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in November in Baku, during which the parties will discuss bilateral cooperation including the humanitarian sphere.
According to Sadigov, the relations between the two countries are good and there is a presence of prospects for their further development.
“There is direct flight between Azerbaijan and Italy which led to improvement of the trade and economic component of our relations,” said Sadigov and added”the mutual trade turnover this year has considerably increased. The difference between figures of trade turnover of the current and last year was about $2 billion” .
