Translation Azerbaijani media reports that Polish Foreign Ministry issued a statement where he noted that that the issue of Ramil Safarov has nothing to do with the Eastern Partnership which involves both Azerbaijan and Armenia.
It’s noted that the extradition and pardon of Ramil Safarov is not topic of discussion within the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union.
“The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has held no negotiations with Hungary regarding the issue of Ramil Safarov. This issue has nothing to do in the field of cooperation with Eastern Partnership countries,” the Polish Ministry noted in its statement.
Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary are members of the Visegrad group.
