On September 20, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received French ambassador in Armenia Anri Reno and France’s newly accredited military attaché Lieutenant Colonel Andre Evrari.
Defense Ministry media department reported to “First News and Analyses” that in the beginning of the meeting the minister congratulated the attaché on his new post and wished him new achievements. Ohanyan noted that French-Armenian warm relations demand that in accordance with the development of cultural, economic and political relations, there should be cooperation in the sphere of defense.
The ambassador expressed the eagerness of their side to deepen the cooperation in the defense sphere and assist the Armenian side in training and educating the soldiers. Other questions of mutual interest have been discussed.
