The head of “Multination Georgia” NGO Arnold Stepanyan spoke about the Gldan prison scandal that shocked the whole world in the interview with “First Armenian News and Analysis”.
He mentioned that the Georgians have heard about violence in prisons, international bodies were alarmed about this, but all the urges remained unanswered till this scandal.
According to Arnold Stepanyan’s estimation too strong negative stream arose in a day towards authorities that they are at stake of crashing. “One must see what is going on in Georgia, people are crying in the streets. I doubt that the authorities will manage to get enough votes in the elections.” –said the Javakhki-Armenian adding that the proof of today’s Georgian policy is that people in Javakhq are unaware of the scandal in the country, they are in information blockade.
We remind that yesterday secretly shot videos were spread in Georgian mass media, where it is vivdly seen how the administrative staff mocks and rapes the imprisoned.
