Deputy President of Armenian National Assembly, Eduard Sharmazanov, today received the delegation of NKR, headed by his counterpart, Arpat Avanesyan. Welcoming the guests, Sharnazarov first of all congratulated Armenia for its independence and said that Nagorno-Karabakh must not be a part of Azerbaijan.
“As I have already stressed it is fact that Azerbaijan cannot be the head of Nagorno-Karabakh. The latest events, concerning murderer Safarov’s extradition, once more proved what kind of country is Azerbaijan. They have chosen a fascism mechanism to destroy all Armenians”, said Sharmazanov and added “since Armenia is the supporter of Nagorno-Karabakh, it won’t let any country, especially Azerbaijan, to be involved in the social and political life of Nagorno-Karabakh.” According to Sharmazanov, first of all the authorities and the citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh must choose what they want. As reported, during the meeting bilateral issues have been discussed.
