ANC (Armenian National Congress) political committee yesterday summoned a meeting to discuss on the issue of organizing events connected with republic’s independence on September 21. As Aravot Daily reports Armenia’s first president Levon Ter-Petrossian shall take part in the events still the issue whether he makes a speech remains a question. ANC also discussed September 23 Tsakhadzor local-self government elections concidering backing of the candidate from heritage party Hovik Hakobyan. Aravot Daily notes Hakobyan being ANC member as well.
