What should we expected from France, when Armenia adopted “doing-no-step” policy?- told ACNIS leader, politician Manvel Sargsyan to the reporters of “First News and Analyses”, speaking about yesterday’s Aliyev-Oland meeting at the Elysee Palace.
He said that he can’t comment on the meeting, because there is almost no clear information about what Oland told Aliyev. But the politician does not think Armenia should have expectations from the president of France, taking into account European Parliament’s resolution on the case of Safarov a few days ago.
To the question what kind of steps the Armenian side should have taken, he replied that there were a lot of options, but the fact that the RA Ministry estimated Azerbaijan’s steps provocative, was wrong.
Recall that from the Oland-Aliyev meeting it is known that Oland urged Azerbaijan to restore trust with Armenia, influencing the negotiations process of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
