On September 19th Holiness Garegin the 2nd received the president of “St. Tovma Aqvinaci” University, Minnesota USA, Father Dennis Dies and the members of trustee assembly in Holy Echmiadzin.
His Holiness thanked them for their responsible mission in educational sphere. He also expressed his satisfaction on the cooperation between Holy Echmiadzin and the University due to the efforts of Gafeschyan family. The vivid example of close cooperation is that two friars from Echmiadzin had a chance to study in “St. Tovma Aqvinaci” University. His Holiness noted that in the last decade more than 40 churchmen of Echmiadzin have studied in the universities and higher spiritual educational institutions abroad. The president of “St. Tovma Aqvinaci” University assured that further cooperation will be reinforced.
