The last events around the former minister of ecology Vardan Ayvazyan were actively discussed in society. Though the latter publicly disagreed with the verdict, there was no word of appealing it.
Ecologist, activist Eghia Nersisyan has also noticed this fact and said in the interview with Aravot.am: “I have even heard that Vardan Ayvazyan has tried to make himself a state hero. But Vardan Ayvazyan is the person having sold Armenia. He himself gave the licenses of exploiting the mines, there are even mines after his son’s name in Hrazdan and other RA regions. It was him who gave the license of Teghut mine. That’s why he doesn’t want to go on with the trial”.
