On September 17, the Integration of Azerbaijani Youth Organization in Europe (AGAT), with the help of young people and the EU program “Youth in Action”, held the first day of the international event “Are we Europeans? The essence, integration, exception. ”
Azerbaijani media, citing the press service of the AGAT, reports that the main purpose of the event is to inform the younger members about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the foreign policy of Azerbaijan.
As reported, on the first day of the event, head of the Centre for Strategic Studies (CSS), Farhad Mammadov, and chief of department of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan, Fuad Babayev, attended the meeting.
In his turn, Babayev outlined the progress made in a short time in Azerbaijan, the success in youth policy and the level refugees’ life.
Mammadov talked about the foreign policy aspects and historical path which passed Azerbaijan and added that integration into Europe is a priority in the foreign policy of Azerbaijan.
The meeting continued in the form of discussion.
