The press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Azerbaijani media that Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan held political consultations.
As reported, Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov and Uzbek delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister, Komil Rashidov.
At the meeting Khalafov expressed satisfaction with the high level of relations between the two countries.
Noting the great potential of the two countries, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister said that it is important to expand the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in various fields, including cultural, educational, and humanitarian.
