Georgian media, citing the announcement of Central Election Commission of Georgia, reports that all organizations, registered to monitor the 2012 parliamentary elections, are to agree on candidates for monitoring the process of printing of bulletins and protocols.
As reported, according to election legislation, observer organizations registered with the Central Election Commission of Georgia have the right to observe the printing of protocols and ballot papers.
“Observer organizations shall submit to the CEC not more than three observers for each printing premises (7 totals). To ensure the transparency of the electoral processes, the CEC of Georgia invites registered observer organizations to its premises at 6 pm on 19 September to reach agreement and submit their candidates for observing the ballot printing process,” says the statement by the CEC.
