In all countries equality before the law is not expressed until elections, since there is no such equality in the time prior to elections. This is the problem most democratic countries face. There is no other way: its either democracy or violation of human rights. When talking about democracy we talk about the right of citizens to decide on the fate of their own.”: stated Paruyr Hayrikyan, founder of NSDU (national Self-determination Union party) today commenting on the need for Armenia to officially recognize September 15 as international day of democracy to stress importance of the letter.
