On September 13, Armen Ashotyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science met with his Russian counterpart, Dimitri Livanov.
During the meeting both sides talked about the Armenian-Russian cooperation. Both of them were eager to deepen the close relations, which we have with Russia for many years.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation, Armen Ashotyan talked about the issue of Russian-Armenian(Slavonic) institute, and said that another agreement should be signed which will deepen the development of the institute.
Dimitri Livanov, in his turn said that he will think about the offer.
The press service of the ministry of Education and Science told our journalists that during the meeting, another issues were also discussed. Especially, the issue of Russian language in Armenia. The sides agreed that the lessons in Russian should be added which will deepen its developemant.
