Armenian National Congress today made a statement concerning broadcasting of Parliamentary sessions on public television. The statement in particularly noted that : “
The announcement of MPs and the interview with government during National Assembly full session on September 12, 2012 were not fully broadcasted by the program “Parliament” on Public TV channel, the problem being the unpleasant and sharp nature for the authorities. This is supposed to be violation of NA “Regulation Procedure” law, 3rd and 4th points of the article 35, where it is said that NA announcements and interviews are to be imperatively broadcasted from the beginning up the end. “Armenian National Congress” political fraction considers this to be information mass blockade against the opposition. ANC demands from the NA incumbent administration to take measures for fully broadcasting the parliamentarian announcements and interview with government during National assembly full session on September 12, 2012 and further ones as well.”
