In response to the statement of the head of “Armenian National Congress” faction Levon Zurabyan, head of the Armenian delegation to PACE David Harutyunyan said that the formula of Dont, based on which in parliamentary delegations the representation of sates’ members are calculated, is not the Bible, but at least 27 democratic parliaments accept it as a basis.
Note that Levon Zurabyan said that he refuses to take part in those meetings of PACE Armenian delegation, where “there will be decided which member, on which convention committee is to represent the interests of Armenia.”
Recall that in PACE the RA NA 5th convocation of the delegation is made according to Dont’s resolution, and the Republican Party as the largest political faction of the NA has three members (David Harutyunyan, Hermine Naghdalyan, Arpine Hovhannisyan) PAP has two (Naira Zohrabyan, Vahe Hovhannisyan), ANC- onemember (Levon Zurabyan).
