ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan, a member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, told reporters that the consultations, which begun the National Assembly on how the works of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe should be organized, will be without his participation.
“I refuse to participate because the Republican Party and the head of the Armenian delegation to PACE David Harutyunyan have not expressed desire to compromise” said Levon Zurabyan.
Zurabyan noted that when it became clear which delegation representatives in which Commission should be included, the majority did not take concessions. “Since there is no compromise from the majority, mainly from the Republican Party and David Harutyunyan, I think that my participation is useless in the meetings where they decide which member of the committee should be included. They do not care about our opinion. They do not have democratic thinking, they are reluctant to compromise. I just will not participate in the distribution process, as it is only to ensure the diktat of the RPA. ”
