62% of Armenian population finds it possible to solve Karabakh conflict by peaceful means. This view is shared by 52% of the Azerbaijani, whereas 42% of them see the way out through war.
The public opinion on NKR issue was found out by the Caucasian center of Investigation Resources. To the question when will NKR conflict be solved the 62% percent of those asked in Armenia, and 44% percents asked in Azerbaijan answered “never” or “I don’t know”.
The trust in army has decreased in Armenia because of the events which occurred last year.
The Azerbaijani are to 4.4 degree satisfied with Aliyev rule out of 5 points. But the answers resulting in this estimate are given not independently; they are indirectly forced by authorities, which is typical to autocratic countries.
One thing is remarkable, that inquiries were not held in three de facto independent republics, Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia as well as in Nakhijevan.
