Information and Public Relations Department of Erevan city told our journalists that today, September 12, Taron Margaryan, mayor of Erevan, received Stefan Wolf, mayor of German city Weimar.
Welcoming the guest, Margaryan introduced him to the progress of Erevan city.
Margaryan also noted that he wants to cooperate with German city and will do everything in order to succeed in that issue.
Stefan Wolf, in his turn, expressed gratitude for the invitation, and stressed that he also wants to cooperate with Erevan, since he sees the changes of the city and the progress.
The sides especially noted that in exchange of experience in the field of local self-government, as well as in different urban areas may be developed between the two cities.
An option of cooperation between Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction and Weimar State University of Architecture and Construction has also been discussed.
At the end of the meeting, Taron Margaryan once again stressed that Erevan is eager to cooperate and deepen the development between the two cities.
