The official sources of European Parliament reported that the European Parliament is to discuss the Safarov’s extradition issue on September 13.
According to the source, 5 major political factions have made requirements for both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The Fractions are: Liberals and Democrats Fraction, The Greens Fraction, European People Fraction, the Conservative Fraction and the Socialists Fraction.
The Conservative Fraction condemned Azerbaijani government for honoring Safarov.
The Socialists Fraction condemned Alliyev for pardoning the murderer.
European People Fraction also is concerned about the extradition, and urges both countries to continue holding peaceful negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
