“Aravot” inquired from PAP MP Elinar Vardanyan why PAP didn’t support the ANC activists judged for their political views and why PAP doesn’t take part in demonstrations in protection of those activists. She answered:
“After the verdict of ANC activists I was the first to condemn it considering it too strict punishment and based on political grounds. At the same time we cooperate with our ANC colleagues on this matter. Moreover, we have agreements to take part in ANC demonstrations. Thus, I don’t agree that we don’t support our colleagues.”
