On September 11, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with EU Special Representative for the crisis situations in South Caucasus and Georgia Philippe Lefor.
During the meeting they discussed issues related to Armenia-EU cooperation and the Eastern Partnership programs. Philip Lefor said that the EU will continue to assist Armenia in the framework of the Eastern Partnership’s projects.
Both sides expressed gratification with the dynamics of the development. They also referred to the issue of Ramil SAfarov’s release, which caused serious damage to the peace process, regional security and stability.
