Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the second meeting of Strategic Cooperation Council summit. The Turkish delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Economy Zafar Caglayan, Minister of Transportation, Navigation and Communication Binali Yildirim, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Minister of Defense Ismet Yilmaz, head of the Agency Business TIKA Sardar Cham, the deputy chairman of the Justice and development Party (AKP) Omar Celik.. Supruga Mustafa Amina Erdogan Erdogan arrived in Azerbaijan together with the delegation.
The private meeting of Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place in Gabala and lasted 1 hour. Negotiations at level of ministers of both countries passed separately and were followed by the II Meeting of the Council of strategic cooperation at the highest level with the participation of the two countries’ delegations.
After the visit to Azerbaijan, Erdogan will leave for Ukraine.
