On September 10, the delegation of the U.S. Kansas National Guard visited Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations. It was led by the U.S. Embassy Kansas-Armenia bilateral relations officer, Captain Aaron Ayzekson.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told “1in.am Armenian News and Analyses” that the delegation consisted of representatives from the U.S. Embassy staff and guards of engineers’ corps.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issued related to the continued assistance of the U.S. Air Force’s land and engineering to the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.
After welcoming the guests, Deputy Minister Haykaram Mkhitaryan accompanied them to the Emergency Crisis Management Center. During the meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations the future directions of Kansas-Armenia cooperation were discussed.
Recall that the roots of Kansas –Armenia cooperation were put in 2003 to support in emergencies and crises by the military and civil cooperation.
