RA Chief Prosecutor and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia today signed a minute on concerning amendment of Point 14 in the U.S.-Armenia Agreement on Drug Control and Cooperation in judicial spheres. In line with this U.S. shall provide additional 2.5 million U.S. Dollar aid for alleviation of Armenia’s judicial projects. The funding shall contribute to improvement of the sphere in general, anti-money laundering and necessary skill-building program initiations. Recall that since signing the above-mentioned agreement on June 11 2001 U.S. Government has provided up to 18 million U.S. Dollars for various projects implemented in the field.
