Georgian media reports that the leader of the Labor Party, Shalva Natelashvili , during yesterday’s debates at the GPB, announced that he would say no to NATO membership, if his political party comes to power.
“The first law, which we will adopt in case of coming to power, will be the denial of NATO membership and the withdrawal of our boys (troops) from the massacre in Afghanistan.
Georgia should say no to NATO membership. It is because of NATO that we have lost Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region, and our government feels very well in the arms of Russia”-stressed Natelashvilli and added “All our troubles – comes from the desire to get into this military bloc. We do not need it”.
According to Natelashvili, as reported, the biggest threat to Georgia is not Putin, not Russia, not Iran or Malaysia, but “criminal foreign policy of Saakashvili, who sold the sovereignty of Georgia to such aggressive military forces as NATO, the United States and McCain.
