Georgian Media reports that Bidzina Ivanishvilli, leader of the Georgian Dream party, today, September 10, has met with the journalists and commented on the debates, which were broadcasted yesterday, September 9.
“Today I still demand the real debates. People should have opportunity to participate, see the candidates and compare them with each other. The format that was used for debates was absurd!” stressed Ivanishvilli.
Note, yesterday the Public Broadcaster held debates among the candidates for the post of Prime Minister, three representatives of qualified parties took part in the debates – Vano Merabishvili ,from the ruling “National Movement”, Giorgi Targamadze, from “Christian Democratic Movement” and Shalva Natelashvili, from “Labor Party”.
Bidzina Ivanishvili refused to participate, claiming that he would debate only with President Mikheil Saakashvili.
