Several days ago in the monitoring commission of Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly the issues on Safarov and on Azerbaijan were discussed. The head of the Armenian delegation in PACE, the president of state-legal commission, ARM member in NA Davit Harutyunyan promised to Aravot.am to present details after arriving in Yerevan.
Yesterday Davit Harutyunyan mentioned in the interview with “Aravot”: “The sessions of PACE monitoring are close to public, and the ethics demands not to present details. I can only say that Armen Rustamyan and I gave speeches and highly criticized the primary report of Azerbaijan. There were few reactions, that’s why I say that PACE is falling down. Further a more serious discussion was in the commission of legal issues on Safarov’s extradition.”
