Azerbaijani media reports that Elnur Aslanov, Chief of the Department for Political Analysis and Information of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, wrote a letter to Editor-in-Chief of the Russian international information agency RIA Novosti, Mironyuk Svetlana, concerning the “issue”.
The letter is especially concerned Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the news about them. The statement writes:
“The language of the article ‘Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to celebrate its 21st anniversary of independence’ is “striking” with its “incompetence, lopsidedness and is full of politically incorrect terms”.
According to Aslanov, the workers, who write the news and put it in internet “don’t know the real story” since, according to him, “Armenians are not introducing the event the way it was”.
In the end Alanov urged Mironyuk to be more attentive in order not to give “misinformed” news.
