Azerbaijani media reports that Nikolai Ovchinnikov, Colonel General and head of the Bureau for Coordination of the Fight Against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Crimes in the Territory of the CIS Member Countries (BCFAOC), during the meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member countries, held in Baku, announced that the presidency in CIS Internal Ministers Council passes to Azerbaijani Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramil Usubov.

“CIS is constantly growing stronger, filled with new specific content for the benefit of the parties and the people. I am convinced that the process should continue as positively as it was. Cooperation in the format, appropriate opposition to modern threats and challenges, the success in the fight against international terrorism and transnational organized crime, is laid in unity, mutual understanding and balance of joint dedicated efforts to protect the peaceful life of the people”.
