Some minutes ago NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, arrived in Armenian Presidential Residence. The members of the Youth Office of the ARF Bureau “welcomed” him shouting “Shame!” “Justice!”. The youth tried to cut off Rasmussen’s way but the police managed to stop the crowd which is on Baghramyan 26 street.
Deputy chief of police of Erevan, Robert Melqonyan, managed to withdraw the activists from the sidewalks. At this moment NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, is in the Presidential Residence, and people who are still on the street, sing an old and friendly song “Dear friend, pour some more wine”. The participants of the action have made a lot of posters, like “A sleeping Diplomat is worse than the sleeping soldier serving at the front.”
We should recall that the protest action is also against NATO, because Ramil Safarov killed the Armenian officer during the training session organized by NATO and the latter must had been attentive and provide security to every participant, which was not done.
