Armenian Public relations department announces that today, September 5, Armen Gevrogyan, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and also the Minister of Territorial Administration, received Roz Nuri Sauheysi, Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq.
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia greeted the guests and stressed that the visit is important both for Armenia and Iraq.
Gevorgyan noted that Armenia wants to deepen the cooperation with Iraq, in every sphere, but according to him, the following areas are considered to be more promising for cooperation: construction, food processing, energy, health and education sectors.
Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq, Roz Nuri Sauheysi, in his turn added that Iraq is eager to deepen its relations with Armenia.
Iraqi side is particularly interested to cooperate with Armenia, in following areas : energy, investment, health and education sectors.
The guest also expressed its intention of opening an embassy in Armenia.
Gevorgyan welcomed the idea of the Deputy Prime Minister, and added, that by this action the relations between Armani and Iraq will go into a deeper stage.
During the meeting both sides stressed that Armenian community in Iraq, plays a great role both for Iraq and for Armenia.
