“Aravot” interviewed the president of foreign affairs commission of NKR NA, Vahram Atanesyan.
In answer to the question whether the law project of NKR independence to be raised by MP Zaruhi Postanjayn from “Heritage” party will give anything to NKR, Atanesyan answered that he doubts that the question will be discussed and refrained from further elaboration.
To the fact that yesterday Edward Nalbandyan announced of continuing the negotiation process, he reacted: “It will be by all means difficult to negotiate with an Azerbaijani officials in all levels. I think it a brave step to call one’s real name in face to face situation. And first of all state profit is the primary issue.”
Commenting on the adequacy of the reaction of international community, Atanesyan said: “For me the reaction of international community is inadequate but I don’t exclude that Azerbaijan will have problems for a while. I have such an impression that Aliev is afraid of Safarov, as the latter tended to “write” in recent years or else he can say more than it is needed”.
Vahram Atananesyan doesn’t share the view that Safarov’s extradition was USA-RF affair. He said that he still hopes that this event was in the plane of Azerbaiajan-Hungary relations. May be there were mediators. It is remarkable that the Azerbaijani wrote that NATO member Hungary wouldn’t take that step without US permission.
