The former deputy of the commander of machinery and equipment for the police sources, Vanik Manukyan will not appeal to the Court of First Instance of Kentron and Nork-Marash distinct. His attorney Hasmik Papian has reported about this to the “Pastinfo” agency.
Note that the Court of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative distinct presided by the Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan, has sentenced V.Manukyan to 8 years of prison and 1.5 million AMD fine, and deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions for 2 years. He was found guilty according to the Criminal Code, five Articles; stealing large-amount of money, the fabrication, the use of official position for large amount of ammunition musing, illegal firearms, acquisition of ammunition, maintenance, transportation and sale.
Court examined the case behind the closed doors, in an expedited manner, which is the defendant accepted the prosecution and can appeal the verdict only for the serving part.
