From August 27 till August 31 there will be days of Kazakhstani films in Yerevan.
The ceremony is organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan Republic to RA, Kazakhfilm, and Armenian National movie center with the support of BTA bank in Armenia. Films will be shown in the framework of celebrations on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Kazakhstan-Armenia diplomatic relations.
Armenian audience will have the opportunity to watch the best 5 movies of Kazakh best directors. The screening of all the films is free of charge. They will be shown every day at 19:00 o’clock in Moscow cinema from August 27th till 31st. The films are in Russian.
The festival will start on August 27th at 18:00 o’clock with the participation of representatives of Kazakhfilm and Armenian National movie center as well as with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia, Ayimdos Bozzhigitov. In the same evening the film “The Nomads” will be screened which is Kazakhs’ favorite film. It is the result of Kazakh-American-Russian cooperation with participation of Hollywood stars. The film is shot on Ilya Esenberlin’s second book of “The Nomads” work. It is based on real events taking place in 18th century during Abilay Khan.
