The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in the Austrian capital. According to today’s results, another 10 participants will advance to the final. The final will be held on Saturday evening.
The second semi-final was not as tense as the first: the political component was minimized. In the first semi-final, some of the audience booed Israeli singer Noam Bettany, while others chanted slogans in his support. During the second, there was no such tension, and all the favorites calmly passed to the final, notes BBC music commentator Mark Savage.
The following 10 performers have reached the final.
Albania (singer Alice, with the song “Nân”)
Australia (Delta Goodrem, “Eclipse”)
Bulgaria (Dara, “Banagaranga”)
Cyprus (Antigoni, “Jalla”)
Ukraine (LELÉKA, “Ridnym”)
Czech Republic (Daniel Žižka, “Crossroads”)
Denmark (Søren Torpegår Lun, “Før Vi Går Hjem”)

Lithuania (Lyon Sika, “Sólo quiero más”)
