Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a harsh statement on his social media page targeting the United Arab Emirates. The senior Iranian diplomat claims that Tehran has long been aware of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s alleged visit to Abu Dhabi, which took place at the height of the US-Israeli campaign against Tehran.
“Netanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iranian security services have long conveyed to our leadership,” Araghchi wrote, without explaining why Iran had not made public the alleged intelligence it had weeks ago.
The Iranian Foreign Minister described the UAE’s actions as an “unforgivable conspiracy” and warned of the consequences.
“Hostility is a foolish gamble against the great Iranian people, and cooperation with Israel in this matter is unforgivable. “Those who cooperate with Israel to sow division will be held accountable,” Araghchi noted.
