Kelvin Evans, 41, was found guilty of breaking into a vehicle. The court sentenced him to 2 years in prison and 3 years of probation. The incident occurred on July 8, 2025, in Atlanta, USA, just as Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert tour arrived.
Evans randomly broke into a rented Jeep Wagoneer used by Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer DeAndre Blue. When they returned, the car’s rear window was already broken, and the luggage was missing. Among the stolen items were two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, expensive clothing and accessories, and hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music.
Despite an investigation, the stolen hard drives and other items have not been recovered to this day. By court order, Evans was banned from approaching the victims and the parking lot where the theft occurred. He has been in custody since August of last year.
