A telephone conversation was held between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran, Jeyhun Bayramov and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the conversation focused on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, the situation in the region, ongoing negotiations, and prospects for a diplomatic and political settlement of the situation around Iran.
Minister Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the negotiations.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized Azerbaijan’s support for efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully and through negotiations.
In addition to regional security issues, the ministers also touched upon the steps being taken in the diplomatic sphere and the further development of cooperation between the two countries. According to the Iranian statement, this conversation took place in the context of ongoing diplomatic developments in the region, aimed at coordinating positions on issues of mutual interest.
